Chip and Dale's Tree Spree Scavenger Hunt

If you are heading to Epcot this holiday season with kids the Chip and Dale Tree Spree Scavenger hunt is a must do! These two need help decorating their tree, and the result is a merry hunt sprinkled all over the World Showcase. And the best part, you can enjoy all the holiday offerings while your kid's streak with excitement as you walk through each new country.

This is not a free activity, and to participate you need to purchase a map and stickers for $6.99 plus tax. If you enter through the main entrance, I recommend purchasing at Pin Setters, and if you enter through the International Gateway, I recommend World Traveler. There are several other locations, just look for these signs.

Once you have your map, you can start in any country. Most of these wreaths are located indoors or outside under overhangs but warning some are tricky to find! This is really an activity for the whole family to participate in because of that. My advice is always to turn around when walking into places! Here are some photos of what the wreaths look like. I love how each wreath reflects and represents the county that is it in.

After you found all 11 wreaths head over to one of the Redemption locations; World Traveler's or Disney Traders to pick up your prize! As a person that loves practical and useful things, this year's selection is one of my favorites! You get to pick from 3 sets of gift cards, each with a paper ornament inside!

Disney Traders

This is a great incentive to spread even more holiday cheer after a day of embracing it in the parks! We, of course, had to keep one of each for our tree!

Overall we are HUGE fans of the scavenger hunts in Epcot. We have participated for years and look forward to every new one. It honestly is the best way to get your kids around the World Showcase and for you to enjoy all the holiday offers as well. We had lunch, listened to holiday storytelling, and tried some festival booths while doing this hunt. It took us about 3 hours total since we took in everything around us as well.

In my opinion, the scavenger hunt is totally worth it and the laughter it brings, and teamwork it requires will be lasting memories! So if you are in Epcot this holiday season make sure to join in on the fun with Chip and Dale.
